Sheikh Hamdan's thoroughbred, Sakhee, had recently been retired from racing to stand at Shadwell Stud. This drawing was one of two produced for use on the cover of Shadwell Stud's annual brochure. In the event the other drawing was used, but we retain a soft spot for this version.
