Dair House is an independent school for boys & girls. Historically, the school took children from nursery age, through to age 8. A recent development for the school (in response to parent demand) is its decision to take children right through to age 11. To mark the event the school commissioned us to create a new identity that would convey the unique qualities of the school. Drawing on elements of the school's coat of arms, we created a new, fresh and engaging aesthetic that seeks to reflect the schools reputation for academic excellence, pastoral care and warm, family feel. We also injected a little of the playful qualities that are so evident in the children's work.
The graphic elements underpin the designs for the new website (above), a prospectus, marketing material, newspaper adverts, signage and even the decoration of the new school minibus.
