Dair House prospectus

dair house prospectus

The compact, A5 document box format represents something of a departure from typical school prospectus brochures. The prospectus takes the form of a folded box which can be opened to reveal a number of inserts. A feature of the design is the use of children's work and graphic devices based on emblems in the school's coat of arms. Bright and cheeful images in combination with simply presented text do much to convey the warm, family feel that the school is known for. The use of inserts means that content can be updated routinely without the need for expensive reprints of the entire document. Printing cost savings were made by appropriating the four corner trim pieces (which would have been wasted) and using them to create the inserts "for free".
